We are the latest Chess Academy to be set up in Singapore providing enrichment programmes for young children to complement their academic pursuit and personal well-being. The academy is conveniently located in the Katong Shopping Centre at 865 Mountbatten Road #02-27/28 Singapore 437844. It is a stone throw away from Marine Parade Town and we hope to be the preferred choice of young children living in the exciting and colourful eastern enclaves of Singapore.

We endeavour to create more opportunities for young and old alike to pick up and excel in the sport and to play regularly either in the form of competitions or simply ” Let’s Play Chess ” sessions.

The Academy is helmed by Philip Chan who is fortunate to count as his Mentors, the many national leaders of the ASEAN Chess Confederation and FIDE (World Chess Federation), the various stakeholders and parents in the Singapore Chess Fraternity (over the years), the leaders and many master trainers of National Chess Federations in the Asian region, particulalry Asean; in his more than one decade of association with the Fraternity in many different capacities.
