We are set up in Singapore providing enrichment programmes for young children to complement their academic pursuit and personal well-being. The academy is conveniently located in the Katong Shopping Centre at 865 Mountbatten Road #02-27/28/20 Singapore 437844. It is a stone throw away from Marine Parade Town and we hope to be the preferred choice of young children living in the exciting and colourful eastern enclaves of Singapore.

We endeavour to create more opportunities for young and old alike to pick up and excel in the sport and to play regularly either in the form of competitions or simply ” Let’s Play Chess ” sessions. Our students start from as young as 4 years old.

The Academy is helmed by Philip Chan who is fortunate to count as his Mentors, the many national leaders of the ASEAN Chess Confederation and FIDE (World Chess Federation), the various stakeholders and parents in the Singapore Chess Fraternity (over the years), the leaders and many master trainers of National Chess Federations in the Asian region, especially in Asean; in his more than 2 decades of association with the Fraternity in many different capacities.

Since 2022, we have been a FIDE endorsed Chess Academy (Tier 3 – Scholastic). We do both over the board trainings and online lessons as well. We host monthly chess events for all ages focusing on young children from 4 years and older. We have in our team, a FIDE Senior Trainer, FIDE Trainers, FIDE Instructor, National Instructors and Developmental Instructors.
