80 of our Academy’s lovely students celebrated National Day with us playing in the above challenge. The event was divided as usual into 2 sections – Open and Under 8. The children enjoyed themselves over 6 rounds of rapid chess. All were rewarded for their hard work.
We thanked Mr Ignatius Leong, former General Secretary of FIDE (World Chess Federation) and former President of the Singapore Chess Federation for presenting the prizes to the various winners.

Our Academy will be organizing the annual CASPL National Day Celebrations Chess Challenge on Sunday 28 August 2016.
Time: 1.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Eligibility: Open to all current students of the Academy only
Categories: A) Open B) Under-8
Format: 6 Rounds Swiss using Swiss Manager with 15 minutes for each player to complete the game.
