- Organiser: Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte Ltd and played under the FIDE Laws of Chess and the following rules and regulations.
- Date & Time: Sunday 7 October 2018 from 1.00 am to 6.00 pm (to report by 12.45 am)
- Venue: Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd – 865 Mountbatten Road #02-27/28 Katong Shopping Centre, Singapore 437844
- Eligibility: Open only to our Academy students in Primary Schools. There shall be three categories (a) Under 12 (b) Under 10 Category and (c) Under-8 Category. Participants may opt to play in a higher category.
- Mode of Competition: 6 Rounds Swiss using Swiss Manager with 15 minutes for each player to complete the game.
- Entry Fee: Shall be $ 30.00 per participant.
- Prizes: Shall be presented to the top 8 winners (boys) and top 3 winners (girls) in each category. For the Under 8 Category, there shall be category Prizes for Pre-Schools. All other participants will receive merit prizes.
- Closing Date: Friday 28 September 2018 at 7.00 pm. Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted.
- In the event of any disputes (outside the Laws of Chess), the organizer’s decision shall be final and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
