1. Organiser: Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte Ltd and played under FIDE Laws of Chess and the following rules and regulations.
2. Date & Time: Sunday 20 August 2017 from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
3. Venue: Katong Shopping Centre – #02-27/28, 865 Mountbatten Road, Singapore 437844.
4. Eligibility: Open to all current students of the academy only. There shall be two categories, (a) Open Category (No Restrictions)        (b) Under-8 Category.
5. Mode of Competition: 6 Rounds Swiss using Swiss Manager with 15 minutes for each player to complete the game.
6. Entry Fee: $ 30.00 per participant.
7. Prizes: Participants in the Open category shall be eligible for Under 12 and Under 10 Category Merit Prizes and shall also be awarded to pre-schools participants in the Under 8 category. For both Categories – All other participants shall be awarded merit trophies subject that they complete 6 rounds of the event.
8. Closing Date: Tuesday 15 August 2017 at 7.00 pm or the first 70 entries. Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted. Entry Fee paid is non-refundable.
9. In the event of any disputes (outside the Laws of Chess), the organizer’s decision shall be final and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
