1. Organiser:
   Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte Ltd and played under the FIDE Laws of Chess and the following rules and regulations.
2. Date & Time:
   Sunday 17 December 2017 from 1.00 am to 6.00 pm (to report by 12.45 pm)
3. Venue:
   Chess Academy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd, 865 Mountbatten Road #02-27/28 Katong Shopping Centre, Singapore 437844
4. Eligibility:
   Open ONLY to our Academy students. There shall be three categories (a) Open (no restriction)  (b) Under 12 and (c) Under-8. Participants may opt to play in a higher category.
5. Mode of Competition:
   6 Rounds Swiss – Swiss Manager with 15 minutes for each player to complete the game.

6)   Entry Fee:
Shall be $ 30.00 per participant.
7)   Prizes:
Trophies shall be presented to the top 8 winners (boys) and top 3 winners (girls)

For each Category. Merit Trophies will be given to top 5 boys and top 3 girls for Under

10 and Pre-Schools in the Under 12 and Under 8 categories respectively.  All other

participant will receive merit prizes.

8)   Closing Date:
Friday 15 December 2017 at 7.00 pm or the first 50 entries received. Late entries and entries without payment will not be accepted. Entry Fee paid is non-refundable.

9)    In the event of any disputes (outside the Laws of Chess), the organizer’s decision shall be final and no further correspondences shall be entertained.
